I was born in the same year as Steve Jobs and went into computing in 1978. I’ve watched the industry grow up, and enjoyed a successful career in Senior International Management, Business & Business Process Re-engineering, M&A Coaching, Sales, Infrastructure Transformation, and Business Service Management. I worked in the GLC, IBM, Amdahl, and BMC, I then joined Proxima Technology, a startup of five people behind a McDonalds in London. We sold to Compuware for $37 million in 2007. As the European MD of a software company that had been successfully sold, I’d reached the peak of my career and decided to retire.
