AGILE DEVELOPMENT
http://appium-selenium.com/
• Agile delivers results faster i.e. Faster Time to Market
• Involves customer so we deliver what customer needs
• It helps teams to mitigate risks at early stages of
product life-cycle
http://appium-selenium.com/
•Scrum is an iterative and incremental agile software
development methodology for managing product development.
•In agile we use Backlog Grooming i.e. customer tells what we
need to build and we convert them into User Stories(called
Product Backlog)
•Scrum has three roles: Product owner, team members, scrum
master
•After preparing Product Backlog we work on Sprint Planning
•Product owner builds team and identifies which User Stories we
work on this sprint
•Each iteration or development model is called a sprint
•Each iteration is few weeks longs 2-3 weeks
involves(Requirement, Design, Coding and Testing)
Agile Scrum Methodology
http://appium-selenium.com/
•Each delivery of sprint is working software
•Scrum master (manages the Scrum Team, identifies time for each user story,
breaks into smaller user stories)
•Daily scrum master meets scrum team and checks what the progress and
difficulties and prepare Burn down graph i.e. progress graph of each sprint
•Product owner and scrum master prepares Burn down chart gives
information when project be completed, putting extra hours when we can
completed
•During the daily scrum, each team member answers three questions:
1. What did I do yesterday that helped the development team meet the
sprint goal?
2. What will I do today to help the development team meet the sprint
goal?
3. Do I see any impediment that prevents me or the development team
from meeting the sprint goal?
Agile Scrum Methodology Cont.
http://appium-selenium.com/
•After scrum over we have rectrospective meeting and
than discussion with customer and product is released.
•After feedback we gather requirements for Sprint 2
Agile Scrum Methodology Cont.
http://appium-selenium.com/
•Increase the quality of the deliverables
•Daily status of Project which keeps track
•Changes are easily adapted in Agile sprint
•Delivers working model to client which can be released
to client customers
•Business are usually happy as they have control in their
hand
Advantages of Agile Model
http://appium-selenium.com/
•Documentation is not done
•Experienced resources are required and more
aggressiveness is required
•More testers are required
•More frequent releases
Dis-Advantages of Agile Model
