Career Goal:
My current objective is to obtain my degree in Biology and in the process take part, if given the chance, in a
number of science and interdisciplinary related research projects. In doing so, I intend on developing myself
into a more complete student who can cope with a wide range of problems. Upon graduating, I am intent on
combining studies in medicine and law in order to obtain both my Juris Doctor (JD) and Doctor of Medicine
(MD) degrees.

 Familiar with the use of light, bright and dark field, and dissecting microscopes
 Well versed in the use of a variety of pipettes
 Able to conduct chemical qualitative methods to determine the presence of carbohydrates, proteins,
and lipids
 Able to set up and interpret electrophoresis gels
 Well versed in the use of aseptic techniques allowing for a pathogenic free laboratory environment
 Familiar with the use of Coliphages as fecal pollution indicators, and techniques required for the
correspondent tests
 Familiar with the use of magnetic nanoparticles as a means for protein separation
 Well versed on the basics on how to conduct solid state synthesis of mixed metal oxides as a means to
obtain crystalline products
 Well versed in utilizing droplet interface bilayers (DIBs) as a means to observe membrane based
phenomena in a laboratory setting

Teamwork Successfully organized and carried out projects in

laboratory partners when conducting experiments
and daily class work.
Communication Oral communication skills expressed in different class
presentations and public speaking. Writing skills
developed through essay writing on a variety of topics
and disciplines.
Willingness to learn Eager to develop my understanding and acquire new
skills through employment or research opportunities.
Problem solving I have the ability to problem solve, tested with
continuous problem solving exercises given as
assessments.
Computer skills Knowledge and experience of Windows 8, MS Word,

Interest:
I enjoy watching all kinds of sports, especially soccer, and doing inner tourism on the island. I was the captain
of my hometown soccer team for two years from January 2011 to January 2013. During this time I developed
my leadership skills, I lead the team in both on and off the field on all club related activities.
