AV-Vision allows the clients to : -
● Identify the matching images without barcode or other information
● Allows in-depth image analysis for pattern identification or object identification
● Allows to identify colour, size, brand, numbers, text and more
● Helps in identification of potential diseases through X-Ray, Diagnostics reports etc.
● Emotional & Behaviours analysis through different postures or from video frames
● Medical image analysis for healthcare (such as noninvasive diagnosis, image-guided
radiotherapy, and treatment planning)
● Computer vision for predictive analytics and therapy
● Fundamental algorithms for medical images in healthcare applications, such as
segmentation, registration, fusion, and classification

❖ Computer Vision is the study of analysis of pictures and video
in order to achieve results similar to those as by humans.
Object Recognition ???
Object recognition is a process for identifying a
specific object in a digital image or video .
Like human understanding, it include
● Detection- of separate objects
● Description- of their geometry and position in 3D
● Classification- as being one of a known class
● Identification- of the particular instance
● Understanding- of spatial relationship between Objects

The assignment of a physical object or event to one of
several prespecified categories"
● A Pattern is an object, process or event that can be given
name
● A Pattern class( or category) is a set of patterns sharing
● common attributes and usually originating from the same
source.
● During recognition( or classification) given object are
assigned to prescribed classes.
● A classifier a machine which perform classification.
Preprocessing of pattern Recognition
● Input Image : A input image used for
processing.
● Negate : we apply negate operator.This
leave detection lines.Inverting an image
leaves a clear boundary of line.
● Sobel Operator : In order to find
the edges of an image.The Sobel
Operator is a discrete
differentiation operator.
● Dilate Operator : Dilation
are morphological image
processing operations.Dilation
adds an extra layer of pixels on a
structure.
● Gaussian Operator: Gaussian
Operator in order to reduce
noise and make the picture
clearer.
● Threshold: Separate out
regions of an image
corresponding to objects
which we want to analyze.
Feature Extraction by AVVision
To extract features which are good for classification.
Good Features:
● Object from the same class have similar features values.
● Object from different classes have different values.

The Object Recognition scanner recognize item based on
Color and pattern.
Use Case #2: Supermarket scanner
recognizes objects without barcodes
● Uses Object recognition to identify food at the supermarket checkout
line.
● The technology uses a camera that compares the food that is being
scanned to a large, expandable database of products.
● That camera filters out background “noise” in its pictures, so that it
only sees objects held close to its lens against a neutral black
background.
● This system claims to be able to make very precise identification of
product.
