The study assesses the physico-chemical and bacteriological quality of water from River Mudzira in Mubi, Adamawa state, highlighting concerns over its suitability for human consumption due to high coliform levels and varying chemical parameters. While most assessed parameters fell within WHO standards, the presence of coliform bacteria indicates potential health risks for residents relying on this water source. Recommendations include chlorination to eliminate pathogens and limiting activities around the river to prevent further contamination.
