Ivan Kaufman, chairman and CEO of Arbor Realty Trust, is also the Chairman and CEO of Arbor Commercial Mortgage, LLC, and the Chairman and CEO of Arbor Residential Mortgage, LLC. Mr. Kaufman has been a crucial member of the commercial real estate industry since establishing Arbor National Holdings in 1983 as well as its lending subsidiary Arbor Mortgage, Inc. The company was sold to Bank of America in 2005, but Mr. Kaufman retained the commercial aspect of the business in order to create Arbor Commercial Mortgage. Later, this would become Arbor Reality Trust. Mr. Kaufman continues to hold positions within the business and local community.
