James has been involved at the intersection of education and technology for over 14 years, starting with a gap year in an educational consultancy in 2000 followed by work in subsequent years after University as a web designer, before moving into the higher education area in 2007 as a Learning Technologist. James enjoys the creative combination of pedagogical, theoretical understanding and technical skills. He has been involved in running distance-learning Masters for 5 years as well as working to enable staff and student digital literacy.
