This document describes a study on power flow control in parallel transmission lines using a Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) combined with adaptive neuro-fuzzy logic for effective management of active and reactive power. The UPFC allows for independent control of these power components by injecting a controllable voltage into the transmission system, with modeling and simulation results demonstrating its effectiveness. The research presents a detailed control scheme and simulation studies that highlight the capabilities of the proposed methods in balancing power flow within the network.
