With a background in IT Research Engineering I am currently a Senior Researcher at MKLab.iti.gr while also advising on technologies against disinformation at ilab.atc.gr, in an effort to bridge research work and commercial applications. For more than 20 years I have been working in R&D projects as a researcher, project manager and coordinator of large multinational consortia. In the latest years I have been involved in projects focusing on the semantic ‘understanding’ of news content and the assessment of its trustworthiness, both from the research and the commercial perspectives.
