02 Ziyarat Of `Ashura
- 1. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãÐáäÃÂB ãkåRá® CáQáF CÖ áÀå×áÃá® âÅÚáätÂB Peace be on you, O Abu `Abdilláh.
- 2. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãÐáäÃÂB ãÁÒâsán áÌåQCÖ áÀå×áÃá® âÅÚáätÂB Peace be on you, O son of the Messenger of Alláh.
- 3. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáÀå×áÃá®ÅÚáätÂB áÌ×ãä×ã{áÒåÂB ãkãä×ás áÌåQBáÑ áÌ×ãËãÆåKâÇåÂB ão×ãÆáF áÌåQCÖ Peace be on you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful and the son of the chief of the successors.
- 4. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáÌ×ãÇáÂC¯åÂB ãACtãÊ ãTákãä×ás áUáÇã¦C¶ áÌåQCÖ áÀå×áÃá® âÅÚáätÂB Peace be on you, O son of Fá>ima al-Zahrá, the chief of the women of the worlds.
- 5. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraánÒâWåÒáÇåÂB áoåWãÒåÂBáÑ ãÍãnC[ áÌåQBáÑ ãÐáäÃÂB ánC[ CÖ áÀå×áÃá® âÅÚáätÂB Peace be on you, O fearless warrior of Alláh, the son of His fearless warrior, the one who was alone, and wronged by the murder of relatives.
- 6. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáÀãMCËã·ãQ åYáäÃác ØãXáäÂB ãbBÑånáÛB ÔáÃá®áÑ áÀå×áÃá® âÅÚáätÂB Peace be on you, and on the souls who died with you.
- 7. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈâ¿å×áÃá® âÄå×áäÃÂB áØã»áQáÑ âY×ã»áQ CÆ æBkáQáF ãÐáäÃÂB âÅÚás æC¯×ãÇá_ ØãäËãÆ ânCÏáäËÂBáÑ I send peace of AIláh on all of you forever, so long as I remain alive, and the night and day remains.
- 8. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraâUáäÖãpáäoÂB åYáÇâ«á® åká»á ãÐáäÃÂB ãkåRá® CáQáF CÖ O Abu `Abdilláh, great is the loss,
- 9. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraCáËå×áÃá® áÀãQ âUáR×ã|âÇåÂB ãYáÇâ«á®áÑ åYáäÃá_áÑ and unbearable and great is your tragedy for us,
- 10. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãÅÚåsåßB ãÄåÎáF ã°×ãÇá_ ÔáÃá®áÑ and for all the people of Islám,
- 11. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãVBÑCÇáätÂB Ø㶠áÀâXáR×ã|âÆ åYáÇâ«á®áÑ åYáäÃá_áÑ and unbearable and great is your tragedy in the heavens,
- 12. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãVBÑCÇáätÂB ãÄåÎáF ã°×ãÇá_ ÔáÃá® and for all the dwellers of the heavens.
- 13. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈâ¿å×áÃá® ãnåÒá`åÂBáÑ ãÈåÃâä«ÂB árCsáF åYátáäsáF æUáäÆâF âÐáäÃÂB áÌá¯áÃᶠãYå×áRåÂB áÄåÎáF May Alláh curse the people who laid the basis of oppression, and the wrongs done against you, people of the House
- 14. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraÈâ¿ãÆC»áÆ åÌá® åÈâ¿åXá¯á¶áj æUáäÆâF âÐáäÃÂB áÌá¯áÂáÑ May Alláh curse those who denied you
- 15. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraCÏ×㶠âÐáäÃÂB âÈâ¿áRáäWán ØãXáäÂB âÈâ¿ãRãWBoáÆ åÌá® åÈâ¿åXáÂBápáFáÑ and removed you from the rank which Alláh had given you.
- 16. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈâÏá áÌÖãkãäÏáÇâÇåÂB ÐáäÃÂB áÌá¯áÂáÑ åÈâ¿åXáÃáXẠæUáäÆâF âÐáäÃÂB áÌá¯áÂáÑ Èâ¿ãÂCX㺠åÌãÆ ãÌ×ã¿åÇáäXÂCãQ May Alláh curse the people who killed you, and those who made it easy for them, by preparing the grounds for your killing.
- 17. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈãÏã®CRåWáFáÑ ÈãÏã®C×åwáF åÌãÆáÑ åÈâÏåËãÆ åÈâ¿å×áÂãHáÑ ãÐáäÃÂB ÔáÂãH âYåMãoáQ åÈãÏãMC×ãÂåÑáF áÑ I turn to you and Alláh, away from them, and their adherents, their followers, and their friends.
- 18. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraçPåoácáÑ åÈâ¿áÇáÂCs åÌáÇã çÈåÃãs ØãäÊãH ãÐáäÃÂB ãkåRá® CáQáF CÖ ãUáÆC×ã»åÂB ãÅåÒáÖ ÔáÂãH åÈâ¿áQánCc åÌáÇã O Abu `Abdilláh, I am at peace with those who make peace with you, I am at war with those who make war with you, till the Day of Judgement.
- 19. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáÉBÑåoáÆ áÁBáÑ èjCÖãp áÁB âÐáäÃÂB áÌá¯áÂáÑ May Alláh curse, the family of Ziyád, and the family of Marwán,
- 20. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáUáÊC_åoáÆ áÌåQB âÐáäÃÂB áÌá¯áÂáÑ æUáRã¦Cº áUáä×áÆâF ØãËáQ âÐáäÃÂB áÌá¯áÂáÑ and all of the Baní Umayya, and Ibne Marjánah
- 21. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraæBoåÇãw âÐáäÃÂB áÌá¯áÂáÑ èkå¯ás áÌåQ áoáÇâ® âÐáäÃÂB áÌá¯áÂáÑ May Alláh curse `Umar ibne Sa`ad, and may Alláh curse Shimr
- 22. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáÀãÂCXã»ã åYáRáä»áËáWáÑ åYáÇá`åÂáFáÑ åYá_áoåsáF æUáäÆâF âÐáäÃÂB áÌá¯áÂáÑ May Alláh curse the people who, carried out, saw, and were silent at, your killing
- 23. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáÀãQ ØãQC|áÆ áÈâ«á® åká»á ØãäÆâFáÑ áYåÊáF ØãQáGãQ My father and mother be sacrificed for you, great is my sorrow for you.
- 24. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáÀãQ ØãËáÆáoå¾áFáÑ áÀáÆC»áÆ áÅáoå¾áF ÕãmáäÂB âÐáäÃÂB âÁáGåsáGᶠI pray to Alláh who has honoured your status, and honoured me through you,
- 25. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãnÒâ|åËáÆ èÅCÆãH á°áÆ á½ãnC[ áSáÃᦠØãËáºâpåoáÖ åÉáF to grant me an opportunity to be with a victorious Imám,
- 26. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãÐãÂDáÑ ãÐå×áÃá® âÐáäÃÂB ÔáäÃá{ èkáäÇádâÆ ãYå×áQ ãÄåÎáF åÌãÆ from the family of Mu<ammad, blessings of Alláh be on him and his family.
- 27. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraâÅÚáätÂB ãÐå×áÃá® ãÌå×átâdåÂCãQ æCÏ×ã_áÑ á½ákåËã® ØãËåÃá¯å_B áäÈâÏáäÃÂB ãTáoãgÝBáÑ C×åÊâäkÂB Ø㶠O Alláh, make me worthy of respect with You, through \usayn, peace be on him, in this world and the Hereafter.
- 28. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãÐáäÃÂB ÔáÂãH âPáäoá»áWáF ØãäÊãH ãÐáäÃÂB ãkåRá® CáQáF CÖ O Abu `Abdilláh, I seek nearness to Alláh,
- 29. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáÌ×ãËãÆåKâÇåÂB ão×ãÆáF ÔáÂãHáÑ ãÐãÂÒâsán ÔáÂãHáÑ and to His Messenger, to the Commander of the Faithful,
- 30. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãÌátádåÂB ÔáÂãHáÑ áUáÇã¦C¶ ÔáÂãHáÑ to Fá>ima, and to \asan,
- 31. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáÀá áSá|áÊáÑ áÀáÃáWCº åÌáäÇãÆ ãTáABáoáRåÂCãQáÑ áÀãWÙBÒâÇãQ áÀå×áÂãHáÑ áPåoádåÂB and to you, through love for you, and disassociating with those who killed you, and prepared to fight you
- 32. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈâ¿å×áÃá® ãnåÒá`åÂBáÑ ãÈåÃâä«ÂB árCsáF áuáäsáF åÌáäÇãÆ ãTáABoáRåÂCãQáÑ and those who established the foundations of tyranny, and wrongs against you (O Ahl al-Bayt).
- 33. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáÀãÂl árCsáF áuáäsáF åÌáäÇãÆ ãÐãÂÒâsán ÔáÂãHáÑ ãÐáäÃÂB ÔáÂãH âFáoåQáFáÑ I turn to Alláh, and His Messenger, disassociating with those who laid grounds for it,
- 34. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈâ¿å×áÃá® ãÍãnåÒá_áÑ ãÐãÇåÃ⪠Ø㶠Óáoá_áÑ âÐáÊC×åËâQ ãÐå×áÃá® ÔáËáQáÑ åÈâ¿ã®C×åwáF ÔáÃá®áÑ and those who built upon it, and carried out oppression and cruelty, on you and your followers.
- 35. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈâÏåËãÆ åÈâ¿å×áÂãHáÑ ãÐáäÃÂB ÔáÂãH âYåMãoáQ I disassociate myself from them,
- 36. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈâ¿ãä×ãÂáÑ ãTÙBÒâÆáÑ åÈâ¿ãWÙBÒâÇãQ åÈâ¿å×áÂãH áäÈâ[ ãÐáäÃÂB ÔáÂãH âPáäoá»áWáFáÑ and seek nearness to Alláh, and then to you through love for you and your friends,
- 37. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáPåoádåÂB åÈâ¿á áÌ×ãRã{CáäËÂBáÑ åÈâ¿ãMBkå®áF åÌãÆ ãTáABáoáRåÂCãQáÑ and disassociation with your enemies, and from those who went to war with you,
- 38. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈãÏã®CRåWáFáÑ åÈãÏã®C×åwáF åÌãÆ ãTáABáoáRåÂCãQáÑ their adherents and their followers.
- 39. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈâ¿áQánCc åÌáÇã çPåoácáÑ åÈâ¿áÇáÂCás åÌáÇã çÈåÃãs ØãäÊãH I am at peace with those who made peace with you, and I am at war with those who went to war with you.
- 40. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈâ¾BjC® åÌáÇã çäÑâká®áÑ åÈâ¾ÙBÑ åÌáÇã çäØãÂáÑáÑ I befriend those who befriended you, and I am enemies with those who were your enemies.
- 41. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈâ¿ãMC×ãÂåÑáF ãUá¶ãoå¯áÆáÑ åÈâ¿ãXá¶ãoå¯áÇãQ ØãËáÆáoå¾áF ÕãmáäÂB áÐáäÃÂB âÁáGåsáGᶠI pray to Alláh, who has honored me with awareness of you, and awareness of your friends
- 42. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈâ¿ãMBkå®áF åÌãÆ áTáABáoáRåÂB ØãËáºápánáÑ and has enabled me to withdraw from your enemies.
- 43. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãTáoãgÝBáÑ C×åÊâäkÂB Ø㶠åÈâ¿á¯áÆ ØãËáÃá¯å`áÖ åÉáF (I pray) that He may place me with you in this world and the Hereafter.
- 44. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãTáoãgÝBáÑ C×åÊâäkÂB Ø㶠è¹åkã{ áÅákẠåÈâ¾ákåËã® Øã áYãäRá\âÖ åÉáFáÑ And (I pray) that He may strengthen for me a truthful stance in this world and the Hereafter.
- 45. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãÐáäÃÂB ákåËã® åÈâ¿á ájÒâÇådáÇåÂB áÅC»áÇåÂB ØãËå³ãäÃáRâÖ åÉáF âÐâÂáGåsáFáÑ And I pray that He may enable me to reach, your honoured station with Alláh
- 46. Ziyárat of `Áshúraè¼ã¦CÊ èoãÎCª æÓákâÎ èÅCÆãH á°áÆ ÕãnC[ áSáÃᦠØãËáºâpåoáÖ åÉáFáÑ åÈâ¿åËãÆ ãä¼ádåÂCãQ and that He may grant me the opportunity to seek victory, along with a rightly guided Imam from amongst you, who will surely come and speak the truth.
- 47. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraâÍákåËã® åÈâ¿á ÕãmáäÂB ãÉåGáäxÂCãQáÑ åÈâ¿ãä»ádãQ áÐáäÃÂB âÁáGåsáFáÑ I ask Alláh for your sake, and by the honoured position you have with Him,
- 48. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãÐãXáR×ã|âÇãQ æCQC|âÆ Øã§å¯âÖ CÆ áÄá£å¶áF åÈâ¿ãQ ØãQC|âÇãQ ØãËá×ã§å¯âÖ åÉáF that He grants me grief at your sorrows, more than the personal grief that troubles anyone in tragedy.
- 49. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraØã¶áÑ ãÅÚåsåßB Ø㶠CÏáXáäÖãpán áÈá«å®áFáÑ CáÏáÇá«å®áF CÆ æUáR×ã|âÆ ã¡ånáÛBáÑ ãVBÑCÇáätÂB ã°×ãÇá_ What great sorrows (you experienced)! How great was your tragedy for Islám, and all the Heavens and the earth!
- 50. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraçVBÒáÃá{ áÀåËãÆ âÐâÂCËáW åÌáäÇãÆ BmáÎ ØãÆC»áÆ Ø㶠ØãËåÃá¯å_B áäÈâÏáäÃÂB çTáoã·å³áÆáÑ çUáÇåcánáÑ O Alláh, make me, at this moment, one who receives from You, blessings, mercy, and forgiveness.
- 51. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraèkáäÇádâÆ ãÁBáÑ èkáäÇádâÆ C×ådáÆ áÕC×ådáÆ åÄá¯å_B áäÈâÏáäÃÂB O Alláh make me live the life of Mu<ammad and his family,
- 52. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraèkáäÇádâÆ ãÁBáÑ èkáäÇádâÆ áVCÇáÆ ØãWCáÇáÆáÑ and make me die the death of Mu<ammad and his family.
- 53. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáUáä×áÆâF ÒâËáQ ãÐãQ åYá¾áäoáRáW çÅåÒáÖ BmáÎ áäÉãH áäÈâÏáäÃÂB O Alláh, this is a day when Bani Umayya rejoiced,
- 54. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãÌ×ã¯áäÃÂB âÌåQB âÌ×ã¯áäÃÂB ãjCRå¾áÛB ãUáÃã¾B âÌåQBáÑ [they were] the most hardened criminals, the condemned son(s) of the condemned
- 55. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãÐãÂDáÑ ãÐå×áÃá® âÐáäÃÂB ÔáäÃá{ áÀãä×ãRáÊ ãÉCtãÂáÑ áÀãÊCtã ÔáÃá® as said by You, and Your Prophet, blessings of Alláh be on him and his family,
- 56. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraãÐå×áÃá® âÐáäÃÂB ÔáäÃá{ áÀâä×ãRáÊ ãÐ×㶠á¸áºáÑ è¸ãºåÒáÆáÑ èÌã¦åÒáÆ ãäÄâ¾ Ø㶠ãÐãÂDáÑ who drew attention to this at every place and occasion.
- 57. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈãÏå×áÃá® áUáÖãÑC¯âÆ áÌåQ ákÖãqáÖáÑ áUáÖãÑC¯âÆáÑ áÉC×å·âs CQáF åÌá¯åÂB áäÈâÏáäÃÂB áÌÖãkãQÝB ákáQáF âUáËå¯áäÃÂB áÀåËãÆ O Alláh, curse Abu Sufyán, Mu`áwiya, and Yazíd son of Mu`áwiya an everlasting curse.
- 58. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraâÈãÏãÃåXá»ãQ áÉBÑåoáÆ âÁBáÑ èjCÖãp âÁB ãÐãQ åYácãoᶠçÅåÒáÖ BmáÎáÑ ãÐå×áÃá® ãÐáäÃÂB âVBÒáÃá{ áÌå×átâdåÂB And this is a day when the family of Ziyád was happy, and the family of Marwán, because of their murder of \usayn, blessings of Alláh be on him.
- 59. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraáÈ×ãÂáÛB áPBmá¯åÂBáÑ áÀåËãÆ áÌå¯áäÃÂB åÈãÏå×áÃá® å¸ã®C£á¶ áäÈâÏáäÃÂB O Alláh, so increase the curse on them from You, and the painful punishment.
- 60. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraBmáÎ Øã·ãºåÒáÆ Øã¶áÑ ãÅåÒá×åÂB BmáÎ Ø㶠áÀå×áÂãH âPáäoá»áWáF ØãäÊãH áäÈâÏáäÃÂB O Alláh, I seek nearness to You on this day, and in this position,
- 61. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraåÈãÏå×áÃá® ãUáËå¯áäÃÂBáÑ åÈâÏåËãÆ ãTáABáoáRåÂCãQ ØãWC×ác ãÅCáäÖáFáÑ and for the rest of my life, through disassociating with them (the enemies) and cursing them,
- 62. Ziyárat of `ÁshúraâÅÚáätÂB âÈãÏå×áÃá®áÑ ãÐå×áÃá® áÀãä×ãRáÊ ãÁBáÑ áÀãä×ãRáËã ãTÙBÒâÇåÂCãQáÑ and through the love of Your Prophet, and his family, peace be on them.
