- 2. What is RDA • RDA: Resource Description and Access • RDAはAACR2に取って変わる新しい目録規則 –AACR2: Anglo‐American Cataloguing Rules, 2 edtion （英米目録規則第2版） • RDAの全体的な目的は：資料発見の支援のた めのデータ標準化のガイドラインおよび規則 “a set of guidelines and instructions on formulating data to support resource discovery”(0.0)
- 3. AACR2とここが違う！ 1. FRBRとFRADという理論的なフレームワークに 基づいている 2. ディジタル環境のためにデザインされている 3.AACR2より広い範囲を対象としている →図書館だけじゃない、英語圏だけじゃない （ただし、AACR2と強くリンクもしている）
- 4. FRBRやFRADでは 何が定義されているか？（ユーザ） • ユーザ – （FRBR）大規模な書誌データを使う人 –（FRAD）大規模な典拠データを使う人（＋作る人）

- 8. RDAでは， どんな定義・説明があるか？ • RDAで新しく出てきた言葉 ”element” •RDAでは – どんなelementがあり – そのelementには何を記述するか • についての説明がある • Elementの説明や定義にはFRBRやFRADの Entity,Attribute,Relationshipが使われている

- 10. RDAのsectionとchapterの見方（1） • chapter 0～37 と appendix A～L がある •RDAでは section は大きな内容の区切り – chapter はsectionを超えて通し番号に • chater 1～37 は 10のsectionに分かれている • Chapter 0 • Section 1 – Chapter 1, 2, 3, 4 • Section 2 – Chapter 5,6,7 • Section 3 – Chapter 8
