Alumni General Meeting Part 1: June 20, 2014
The June 20th, 2014 general meeting was called to order by President John Noschese, who reported on various topics including the pavilion project, alumni events, and financial updates. Treasurer Todd Langer provided a detailed account of revenues and disbursements, confirming the organization's tax-exempt status. The meeting concluded with discussions on old business and memorial acknowledgments for deceased alumni.

- 1. President John Noschesecalled the June 20th, 2014 General Meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. Mary Mowl gave a prayer to open the meeting. Valentine Wojton, III signed the Pledge of Allegiance. The 2011 General Meeting minutes was approved as read. - 3. 1st Vice-President DanielSheppeck reported: 1) explained schedule for tomorrow (Saturday, June 21st , 2014) 2) 170 already registered for the Banquet plus we have some Alumni coming here today Treasurer Todd Langer explained that we finally got PA sales tax exemption along with the Federal tax exempt form. He added that some people has been questioning him about the death of the Alumni and monies being donated to Alumni. He explained that the will did not specifically say that monies should go to the Alumni Association but to WPSD only. NECROLOGY: added few more: Elmer Greenfield (47 or 48) – Sept. 17, 2012 Jane Greenfield (’50) – Sept. 22, 2012 Paul Pitzer (’41) – May 2013 We said a prayer for each departing Alumni listed in the program book and these additions listed above. OLD BUSINESS Harry Lewis questioned about the railing. President Noschese explained that WPSD decided not to do this since that that stairs is moveable and it’s harder to have railing on it and suggested us to use the side ramps (both sides have railings).
