21st Century Teaching Tools

Editor's Notes

  • #20 Whenever I talk about Glow, people always grab onto the notion of it being a technology initiative – it isn’t. At it’s heart, it’s about quality of provision in teaching and learning.
  • #114 We are leaders in online learning. Glow provides us with a common platform to take this forward. 30 local authorities and 3 universities are now signed up to develop their use of Glow – the others are on the path considering how they too will make use Glow. This provides us with an unparalleled opportunity for collaboration and sharing, on an unprecedented scale. That said, we don’t rest on our laurels. We take our role as guides in this new learning landscape very seriously indeed, and constantly search the horizon to see what’s coming up next and assessing it’s validity in an educational context.
