This paper presents a secure and optimized data hiding technique using a Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) combined with a Genetic Algorithm (GA) to improve trade-offs between imperceptibility and robustness in watermarking digital images. The method embeds secret images into cover images while maintaining high image quality and allows extraction of the hidden message to verify authenticity, demonstrating effectiveness through various tests on standard grayscale images. Results indicate significant improvement in Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratios (PSNR), confirming the proposed method's potential in enhancing image data security.
