This paper conducts a multidimensional analysis of well-being among migrated students in Chennai using Amartya Sen's capability approach, focusing on their perceived differences and challenges. It employs fuzzy set theory to evaluate well-being based on functionings such as housing, health, education, and social interactions, thus highlighting the complexity of measuring well-being. The study underscores the importance of freedom and capabilities in defining well-being, emphasizing that real advantages stem from both achieved functionings and the freedom to choose among them.
