This document summarizes a study on using Calibrated Peer Review (CPR), a web-based tool, to implement peer review in three courses at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. CPR provides a structured process where students complete writing assignments, review benchmark examples to train as reviewers, review peers' assignments, and self-assess their own work. CPR captures performance data at key stages, including quality ratings, content/style scores, and deviation from benchmarks/peers. This data provides formative feedback for students and instructors on the peer review process and writing development.
