About Texila American University
Texila American University is located in Guyana, the only English
speaking Country in South America. TAU is listed with WHO
(World Health Organization) and IMED. TAU graduates are eligible
for licensing exams in different countries like USMLE (USA), PLAB
(UK), CAMC (Caribbean Countries), MCI (India) , etc.,
TAU is registered with the National Accreditation Council Guyana, a
body constituted by Act of the Parliament of Guyana , overseen by
Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health-Guyana.
The curriculums at the TAU is structured after the best US and
Caribbean medical schools. The academic program is both
accelerated and rigorous, with a focus on preparing students for
licensure in the United States, Caribbean region, India and various
other nationalities.

program that utilizes the knowledge from highly qualified teaching
