In a recent statement, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) expressed a measure of apprehension regarding President-elect Donald Trump’s nomination of Republican Senator Jeff Sessions to the post of Attorney General. AILA President William A. Stock urged lawmakers to hold Sessions accountable for fairness in areas relating to immigration law and reform.
