Crossing the Andes and valleys to enjoy the majesty of Machu Picchu,
surrounded by huge mountains at the foot of the Urubamba river, been here
make the experience bigger than any human can expect, in this sacred place
full of cosmic energy.

Then travel true the Andes, and access to Manu National Park, where the
wildlife coexist harmoniously, descending to the valleys that lead to the vast
Amazon, inhabited by Indians, surrounded by monkeys, macaws, tapirs and
Giant River Otters.

Located in the heart of the jungle in the remote pristine Amazon rain forest of
Manu area of Peru, next to Manu National Park.

At the lodge itself, there are ample opportunities to see wildlife like Tapir,
Giant River Otters and Monkeys, more than 550 bird species registered,
including the Long Crested Pygmy Tyrant, Red-billed Pied-Tanager, Bronzy
Jacamar, Pavonine Quetzal, Needle-billed and reddish Hermit, Festive
Coquette and more.
It is also a convenient base for excursions to the Macaw Clay Lick where
parrots and macaws flock by the dozen, and oxbow lakes where endangered
giant otters may be observed from floating platforms.

Perhaps the greatest feature of the Amazon Manu Lodge, however, is its
proximity to the Tapir Clay Lick. 20 minutes walking from the Lodge.

Many mammals, including monkeys, deer, and the otherwise elusive
Amazonian tapir are attracted to the lick’s rich natural mineral deposits and
are often observed there.

where specialist birds had been seen, like long crested pygmy tyrant, Rufous
Headed Woodpecker. White CheeketTody-Tyrant, Flamulated Bamboo Tyrant,
