  Amphibian means living2 lives: one in water and the other in land. They use gills when they live in the sea and lungs when they live on the land. They are cold-blooded .They don`t need as much food as warm-blooded animals.

  First they breathewater through gills. Then they have developed lungs. They can have toxic skin and some can bite: they don`t have nails. They have short front limbs and long hind limbs. With five webbed digits.
