When and What?
First introduced by PRIP M.A.T. Caparas in 1985 and
adopted by RI Board in 1988.
Currently, only ±9600 active RCC sponsored by some
±3,000 Clubs in about 100 countries.
Comparatively a very low achievement against
≥37,000 Clubs in ≥200 countries in Rotary World.

WHY???
In Rotary Family, we have 9
different Volunteer Service Partners:
Interact
Club
Rotaract
Club
Rotary Fellowship
World
Community Service
Rotary Friendship Exchange
Rotary Community Corps
Youth Exchange
Rotary Youth
Leadership Awards
Preserve Planet
Earth
DO and Don’t
Most Clubs do have Interact Clubs and Rotaract
Clubs, and sometimes getting involved with RYLA, or
Youth Exchange programes.
Very few Clubs know all the other volunteer service
partners
Most Clubs do not care about developing a RCC
because they do not know it.
3 Critical Success Factors :
I. Rotary District X promote RCC aggressively.
II. Senior Rotarians X know much about RCC and
never encourage the younger Rotarians to
establish one.
III. As all Clubs have community service
subcommittee, they might X want to establish
another subcommittee to render similar service.
What then ????
To Achieve 3 Wins
Rotarian needs service anyway
Non Rotarian and family and friends
have chance to offer service
The Beneficiaries
Ways To Promote RCC
1. Rotary District must strongly promote
RCC.
2. All old Clubs and Senior Rotarians must
