This document discusses the analysis of ECG signals using a discrete wavelet transform (DWT) with a focus on the Daubechies wavelet of order 10, implemented in Verilog HDL. The approach aims to effectively remove noise from ECG signals and extract valuable features related to heart activity, utilizing the MIT-BIH database for analysis. The results demonstrate a significant reduction in noise, indicating the effectiveness of the wavelet transform in processing non-stationary signals like ECG.
