This study investigates deep neck space infections (DNSI) at Jubilee Mission Medical College over two years, highlighting the changing trends in etiology, clinical presentation, and outcomes. It includes 40 patients, mainly affected by dental infections and tonsillitis, with pain and difficulty swallowing being the primary symptoms; Staphylococcus aureus was the most commonly isolated bacterium. The findings emphasize the importance of early diagnosis and management, often requiring surgical intervention, to reduce complications associated with these infections.
