The Ark of Salvation
All I Need to
Know I Learned
From Noah’s Ark
Noah lived in a
WORLD that
had grown
increasingly
wicked and
godless.
(Gen 6:5,11-12)
Noah, though
a SINNER, in
comparison was a
righteous man
and found GRACE
in God’s eyes.
(Gen. 6:9, 22)
God revealed
his plan to send
JUDGMENT upon
the world.
(Gen. 6:13)
GOD took the
initiative to save
Noah and his
family and
judge the rest.
(Gen. 6:14-21)
God planned the
ARK as a means
of rescue from a
great FLOOD for
Noah’s family.
God shut the
DOOR of the ark,
not Noah. God
was responsible
for their salvation.
(Gen. 7:16)
God sent the flood
at the right time.
God STEERED the
ark; there was
no rudder. God
controlled its
path. Noah had
to trust God.
Salvation was by
God’s GRACE,
received through
FAITH. Noah
believed God’s
words and acted in
obedience,
building the ark
according to
God’s
instructions.
Noah acted to
save his entire
family. (Gen. 7:5)
There was only
one DOOR to the
ark. Only by
entering through
the door was
Noah’s family safe
from the flood’s
destruction.
Inside the ark,
they were safe.
There were the
only ones who
were saved.
(Gen. 6:17-18)
Those who were
OUTSIDE the ark
died and
were lost.
(Gen. 7:21-23)
Application:
God still
judges SIN.
(Rom. 1:18-32)
He has revealed
a coming
judgment,
when Christ
returns.
(2 Pet. 2:5-6;
Rev. 20:11-15)
God displays
His GRACE.
(Ephe. 2:6-8)
Jesus Christ is
our “ARK of
Salvation.”
He is the only way
to be rescued from
God’s judgment.
(John 14:6)
All who believe in
Him will be
SAVED.
(John 3:36)
Once God shuts
the door, NO ONE
else can enter; it
is too LATE.
(Lk. 13:25)
