ROAD PROJECT MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY Authorized competent electrical person (CEP) license holder to take permit to work (PTW) and limitation of access (LOA) from client Oman Electrical Transmission Company (OETC) and Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC)for all installation and commissioning activities of street light Feederpillars, transformers, cable laying, 400/220/132/33kv cable diversion, 11kv electrical pole location changing and feederpillar Energization approvals. Co-ordination with MEDCsite engineers,designdepartments and L&T sub-contractors for the 33kv/11kv/LV cable diversion works. Co-ordination with MEDCsite engineers,site inspectors, metering department to energize the new street light feederpillar and removing of existingstreet light feederpillar. Co-ordination with OETC for 132kv cable diversion scheme approvals and protection works. Co-ordination with client Muscat Municipality street light division, design department, parsons, and subcontractors to excavate,install, backfilling, commissioning and diversion works (Street light feeder pillars, Street light poles, FOC cable of Omantel & Nawras , Traffic signals, Ductbank, Road bridge lights, Road diversion). AIRPORT CABLE LYING PROJECT MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY: EHV cable laying 11kv Preparation of cable schedule and cable drum cut length schedule. Co-ordinate with safety department and related utility department to get excavation approvals. Cable sheath testing and resistance testing. Reviewing of drawings to ensure the co-ordinates changesand interfacing of other utilities for smooth and hurtle free executionof the job.
