- 3. Production Checklist Proper project name and location 1. We will create a general folder for all projects.
- 5. Production Checklist Proper project name and location 2. We will create a subfolder my first project, you should create a subfolder for each Project you will work on. 3. Each subfolder must be properly identified with the name of the project you are working.
- 7. Production Checklist Digital Audio Preferences 1. You must have the drivers or controllers for your interface to be compatible with the application you use in your DAW. 2. We set the sampling rate it is suggested: 48,000 Hz. 3. The bit depth suggested for recording is 24-bit.
- 8. Production Checklist Recording File Type 1. You have to set the main uncompressed recording file; WAV or AIFF are suggested.
- 10. Production Checklist Hardware Settings 1. Make sure that your DAW is properly configured to work with the audio interface, the system is not set up with audio application you're using (Cubase, Protool, Reason), go to DAW and set them in application preferences input and audio output. Buffer Size 1. You must set your buffer size. 128 samples per buffer is suggested.
