INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR COMPLIANCE
Atrium uses a white glove approach that promotes a comprehensive and consistent classification method
beginning with a phone call to the independent contractor (IC) to introduce the process and perform a
preliminary evaluation. Following the introductory call, a formal evaluation is performed using our proprietary
Independent Contractor Evaluation (ICE) Tool. Via web or mobile accessibility, the ICE application enables
efficient evaluations and visibility into your IC population, as well as the creation of secure audit trails and
document retention in order to mitigate risk. The application delivers a superior user experience for clients and
identified independent workers.

Atrium might have “grown up” to be a talent solutions firm, but we started in the world of recruiting. Our years
of experience highlighted that companies were passionate about intern identification and program
management, but struggled to do it well.

Rebecca is considered a trailblazer in the staffing industry. After
working briefly for a national staffing firm, she quickly realized that
there was a better way and set out to create it. In 1995, she founded
Atrium on her trademarked Applicant-Centric philosophy, which not
only humanized the sometimes transactional staffing process, but also
honored the job seeker. Over 20 years later, she has grown her
boutique firm to an award-winning, nationwide enterprise with multiple
service offerings which operate with the same founding principles.

know that making short-term gains are not
worth the long-term implications unsustainable
business practices can have on our employees,
our families and our communities. Our
initiatives around waste reduction and energy
conservation are constantly evolving in an effort
to reduce the negative impact of our processes
on the environment. As an example, in the last 2
years alone, we‘ve reduced our paper usage by
57% by introducing paperless substitutes for a
majority of our business functions. Making
conscious business decisions to support
sustainability has led to increased productivity,
reduced costs and improved energy efficiency. It
also helps us sleep at night.
