TRC’s innovative Station Builder process utilizes FME Form and Flow to enrich features and establish regulator stations within a natural gas Utility Network connectivity model. This two-stage automation process begins by integrating GIS and asset management systems to generate new features at the precise locations of the original single station points. The second stage iterates through each station, systematically arranging features to construct a standardized Station Schematic. This process incorporates advanced logic to determine optimal station placement, ensuring minimal overlap with existing features. The enrichment and creation of assets allows additional data to be extracted to risk models and provides users with a more realistic representation of assets.
