This paper presents an enhancement to the AODV routing protocol for mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) called E-AODV, which improves packet delivery ratio and minimizes end-to-end delay. The study highlights the challenges of maintaining quality of service (QoS) under dynamic conditions and compares the performance of AODV and E-AODV using simulation results. The findings indicate that while E-AODV provides better QoS management, it may result in lower packet delivery ratios under high data rates due to its strict routing requirements.
