Inna currently serves at New Life Academy as a Guidance Counselor and it is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation. • During the past four years, I have observed Mrs. Collier time and again helping students to succeed at their current stage of education while thoughtfully considering their future options as well. This included my son, who now serves with the United States Air Force. • She interacts with students and families outside the classroom attending school and parent sponsored functions in order to further connect with our community • Mrs. Collier took the lead in establishing a club for International Students providing them with multiple opportunities to interact with other students and the community in order to facilitate better understanding of American culture (and theirs) while providing opportunities for them to share and develop relationships with their peers • She works regularly with her assistant in improving academic and extra-‐curricular opportunities for all students • She has served as a key member of New Life Academy assisting with scheduling decisions, student recognition, and student counseling/guidance • She provides a valuable perspective to administration in terms of planning, scheduling, student development, and post-‐secondary planning. • She models and promotes fairness, equity, and respect in all interactions with students, staff, and parents through clear expectations and procedures Mrs. Collier’s organizational skills, attention to detail, positive spirit, and strong personal relationships with the staff, students, and families are exemplary.
