- #10: What is the purpose of life? The purpose of life is not about you. You don’t get to choose your life’s purpose. Focusing on yourself will never reveal your life’s purposed. You didn’t create yourself, so there is no way to tell yourself what you were created for. Life is a temporary assignment – It is about letting God use you for His purposes. How will God use you for His purposes? Ask Him. If you want to be used by God, you must care about what God cares about. What He cares about most is that those He create to be His return to Him. You were made in God’s image. God is a spiritual being, and so are you. Colossians 1:16 For by Him (Jesus) all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created through Him and for Him.
