C. Tyler is a graphic storyteller and underground cartoonist known for her graphic memoir trilogy You'll Never Know, which tells the story of her father's experience as a World War II veteran and her family's history. On January 31, 2013 at 7pm in Annenberg Auditorium at the University of Southern California, C. Tyler will give an illustrated conversation where she will discuss comics, family memories, material culture, gender, generations and how she reconstructed her parents' stories using items from her family's archives such as news clippings, letters, maps and graphs. The event is presented by USC Visions and Voices and co-sponsored by the USC Gender Studies Program and Comic Book Club.
