Camp Cadet is a summer camp program for boys and girls ages 12-15 sponsored by Centre County Law Enforcement. The camp aims to develop understanding between youth and police through a week of exciting sports, demonstrations and activities, creating lasting memories and impressions of police as friends. Girls' week is July 28 to August 3 and Boys' week is August 4 to August 10, with fees of $200 and need-based scholarships available. A typical day includes wake up, activities, demonstrations of shooting, archery, pepper spray and more cool things.

- 2. What is Camp Cadet? Mission • To develop a better understanding between the youth of Centre County and its law enforcement officers. Goals • Provide an enjoyable experience that will be remembered by all cadets who attend, and • Create a lasting impression the police officers are friends, not foes.
