COMMON INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
Use the below table to construct your answer .
You can talk about your professional goal or can be specific by naming the promotions you someday hope to win. Reassure your interviewer that you’re looking to make a long-term commitment…that this position entails exactly what you’re looking to do and what you do extremely well. As for your future, you believe that if you perform each job at hand with excellence, future opportunities will take care of themselves.

Your Body Language – Do’s 2 Show your enthusiasm by keeping an interested expression. Nod and make positive gestures in moderation to avoid looking like a bobble head. 3 If you have more than one person interviewing you at once, make sure you briefly address both people with your gaze (without looking like a tennis spectator) and return your attention to the person who has asked you a question. 1 Sit up straight, and lean slightly forward in your chair. In addition to projecting interest and engagement in the interaction, aligning your body's position to that of the interviewer's shows admiration and agreement .
Only a small percentage of communication involves actual words: 7%, to be exact. In fact, 55% of communication is visual (body language, eye contact) and 38% is vocal (pitch, speed, volume, tone of voice). The world's best business communicators have strong body language: a commanding presence that reflects confidence, competence, and charisma
Your Body Language – Do’s 5 When you're speaking, let your hands do some of the talking. Great speakers use hand gestures more than on average. 4 99% Eye Contact – Remember this isn’t a staring contest!
Your Body Language – Don’ts 2 Swivel in your chair or click/tap your pen. Avoid clicky-ticky-taps! 3 Sit with your armed folded across your chest. You'll appear unfriendly and disengaged. 1 Rub the back of your head or neck. Touch your face, tug on jewelry. Even if you really do just have a cramp in your neck or an itch, these gestures make you look disinterested and nervous.
Common Interview Errors Lack of Preparation Error 1 Asking about salary too early Error 4 Saying bad about college/ system/ former company/ boss Error 2 Lying/ Providing wrong information! Error 3

Editor's Notes

  • #27: Match the recruiter's requested format. If someone requests "text only" or "no attachments" and you send a Microsoft Word document, they may discard it without looking. If you make a resume in HTML, try looking at it with several different browsers (or have a friend look at it). What looks okay on your computer may look horrible on someone else's Beware if your web-resume links to your home page or otherwise might lead people to look at your home page. Unless the page supplements your resume in some way (for example, you present some examples of your work) then it is better shared after you have gotten the job, or at least after you've had an interview List at least 10 skills which you have developed in each of the following areas: Education/Work/Internships or Volunteer/Extracurricular. Use "action words" to develop one-liner summaries. Circle each of the skills noted in the above point that you would like to use in your employment. Are there other talents you possess that you would like to use on the job? If so, add them to the list of circled skills. Now rank these skills in order of those you most want to use Make a list of what you consider to be 5 great accomplishments in your life. What personal qualities helped you reach each goal

  • #38: ADD --- GIVING TOO MUCH INFORMATION – OFF SUBJECT------- TRYING TOO HARD – NO PERSONAL the candidate described "the team's successes" and "our projects," never explaining what he himself contributed to the group efforts. Suddenly the interview was over, and so were his prospects of winning the CFO job. "There was no 'I' in this company's vocabulary," says Clothier, describing his friend's previous employer. But bringing that focus to a job interview — with a company that had a more entrepreneurial corporate culture — turned out to be a mistake. "He should have been prepared to describe the teamwork in terms of his leadership and specific contributions," reasons Clothier. The candidate wasn't "mentally prepared for selling himself, and fell back on the nomenclature of his company."
