“Divorce is a human law that aims to separate legally those who
are already separated. It is not contrary to the law of God, for
it only reforms what men have done and is only applicable in
cases where divine law has not been taken into account.”

Assuming that conjugal unions do not exist by chance, divorce,
strictly speaking, should not be made easy among people.
It is there, in the marital bonds defined by the laws of the world,
that refinements and reconciliations are carried out aimed at the
precise sublimation of the soul.
Marriage will always be a benevolent institution, welcoming, on
the threshold, in flowers of joy and hope, those whom life
awaits for the work of their own improvement and
perpetuation. With it, progress gains new horizons and the law
of rebirth achieves the ends towards which it is headed.
However, Divine Wisdom never institutes principles of
violence, and the Spirit, although in many situations it
aggravates its own debts, has the faculty to interrupt, refuse,
modify, discuss or temporarily postpone the fulfillment of the
commitments it has undertaken.
In many instances of experience, it is the individuality itself, in
the life of the Spirit, before reincarnation, that signals to itself
the difficult marriage that it will face in the physical state,
calling upon its partner from past existences for adjustments

that will pacify its conscience, in view of errors perpetrated in
other times.
However, having been brought back to the earthly spotlight and
having assumed the spousal union that it had drawn upon itself,
it finds itself discouraged by the obstacles that unfold before it.
Sometimes, the partner returns to the cruelty of the past,
whether through contempt, disrespect, violence or disloyalty,
and the injured spouse does not always find the resources within
himself or herself to overcome the processes of moral
dilapidation of which he or she is a victim.
Often forced to the last frontiers of resistance, it is natural that
the husband or wife, relegated to undue suffering, resorts to
divorce as an extreme measure against suicide, homicide or other
calamities that would complicate their fate even more. In these
moments of experience, separation appears as a necessary
blessing and the injured spouse finds in the court of his or her
own conscience the moral support of self-approval to renew the
path that concerns him or her, welcoming or not new company
for the human journey.
Obviously, it is not permissible for us to encourage divorce at
any time. It is our sole responsibility to comfort and encourage
the brothers and sisters in conflict, in marriages of trial, so that
they may overcome their own susceptibilities and afflictions,
overcoming the difficult stages of regeneration or atonement
that they prayed for before being reborn on the Physical Plane,
to help themselves.

Even so, it is fair to recognize that slavery does not come from
God and no one has the right to torture anyone, in the face of
eternal laws.
Divorce, therefore, based on just reasons, is a human providence
and clearly understandable in the processes of peaceful
evolution.
Indeed, Jesus taught: “What God has joined together, do not
separate” (Matthew 19:6), and it is not up to us to interfere in
the life of any spouse with the intention of removing them from
the obligation to which they have been entrusted. However, it is
not up to us to separate those whom God’s Laws have brought
together for certain purposes; it is they themselves, the friends
who have been united by the bonds of marriage, who wish to
separate from each other, and our only obligation is to respect
their free choice without harming their decision.

HOW TO FORGIVE
In most cases, the imperative of forgiveness arises between us and
our intimate companions, when the sweet juice of trust turns sour
in our hearts.
This happens because, generally, the deepest hurts arise between
Spirits who are linked to each other in coexistence.
When our relationships become ill, in the exchange with certain
friends who, according to our personal opinion, are transformed
into our opponents, let us ask ourselves sincerely: “How can we
forgive, if forgiveness is not limited to a matter of lips but rather
a problem that affects the most intimate mechanisms of feeling?”
Having done this, let us hasten to recognize that people in error
belong to God and not to us; that we also have errors to correct
and adjustments in progress; that it is not fair to retain them in
our points of view, when they are, as happens to us, under the
designs of Divine Wisdom that best suits each one, on the paths
of refinement and progress.
Then, let us remember the blessings with which similar individuals
have enriched us in the past and let us preserve them in our cult
of gratitude, as life dictates to us.
Remember that God has already granted them new opportunities
for action and elevation in other areas. It would be unreasonable
for us to maintain complaints against them in the court of life
when God Himself does not withhold His Love and Trust from
them.
When you truly surrender yourself to God, handing over your
adversaries to God as your true brothers - as much in need of
Divine Support as we are, you will penetrate the true meaning of

Christ's words: "Father, forgive us our debts, as we forgive our
debtors", reconciling yourself with life and with your own soul.

BEFORE THE LITTLE ONES
Children are the spiritual edification of those responsible for
them.
Not even one child does not ask for love and help, education, and
understanding.
Every kid, even though they possess an adult spirit, has an
extremely sensitive brain. This sensitivity arises because they are
beginning the process of reincarnation again, making them strict
observers of everything you say or do.
The child's mind will give us back in the future whatever we give
it now.
Every boy or girl is a spiritual world under construction or
reconstruction, asking for worthy material to consolidate itself.
Help today's children to think correctly by dialoguing with them
within the norms of respect and sincerity that you expect from
others towards you.
They are a specific chapter in the book of your everyday life.
Don't try to transform your children into knickknacks
passionately kept, for they are eternal spirits like us.
The day will come when they will tear to pieces any bonds of
illusion before you.
If you encounter any brat with rude manners or inconvenient
training, do not establish censorship, recognizing that his re-
education service, in essence, belongs to his parents or a
responsible, and not you.
If you have suffered any damage at home due to vandalism, little
mischievous ones, forget about it, reflecting on the love and

reflecting on the love and consideration you owe to the adults who
respond to them.

DIFFICULT COMPANIONS
Difficult companions are not those individuals who have not
yet reached our intimate level but rather those others who
have made themselves loved by us and who, from one moment
to the next, have changed their thoughts and behavior,
imposing strangeness and uneasiness on us.
They have stood as pillars of faith, sinking in a heavy current
of temptations...
They have shone as beacons of light at the head of the march
and have faded into the night of human conveniences, driving
us into shadow and disorientation...
However, having examined the matter with discernment and
serenity, would it be fair to harbor pessimism or
disenchantment simply because this or that companion has
shown human weaknesses peculiar to us too?
Aware of the realities of the evolutionary field, in which we
carry burdens of guilt and debts, deficiencies and needs
placedonourshouldersinpastlives,howcanwedemandfrom
our loved ones who are on the same level as us, the position of
heroes or the behavior of angels?
Bythis, we do not meanto say thatthe omission or desertion of
people we have invested trust and tenderness are natural
conditions for the spiritual action we are responsible for
developing.
But yes, while regretting their less happy resolutions, it is
imperative to pray for them in the spirit of fraternal tolerance,

with which we must embrace all those who join us in the tasks
of our earthly journey.
If Jesus recommended that we love our enemies, what
guidelines should we adopt when dealing with difficult
companions, if not to bless them with higher comprehension,
since they lack greater dedication?
Given their different commitments, they cannot always
immediately share our daily activities; however, in the right
spirit, we can thank them for the good they have done for us
and for the good they can do, sending them a silent message of
our respect, affection, encouragement, and gratitude.
By fulfilling this duty, we will have enough inner peace to
moveforwardbyperformingthe obligationslifehasindicated
to us.
We will understand that if the Lord Himself accepts us as we
are, tolerating our imperfections and using us in service
according to our capacity to be helpful, it is our responsibility
toaccept difficultcompanions as theyare, waitingforthem, in
terms of elevation or readjustment, just as the Lord has waited
for us.

LONELINESS
"Why? What crime has he committed?" Asked Pilate. But they shouted
all the louder,
"Crucify him!"

While you elevate yourself up the mount, in the performance of
your duties, you experience the solitude of the summits, and an
immeasurable sadness compresses your sensitive soul.
Where are the ones who smiled with you in the vernal park of
your first youth?
Where are the hearts that sought your comfort in the hours of
fantasy?
Where lie those who shared the bread and dream with you in
the cheerful adventures of the beginning?
They remained there, for sure...
They stayed in the valley, flying in a narrow circle, like golden
butterflies, which break apart at the first contact of the smallest
light flame that opens before them.
Around you, the light, but also the silence...
Within you, the happiness of knowing, but also the pain of
others' incomprehension...
Your voice screams without echo, and your yearning grows in
vain.
Yet, if you rise spiritually, what ears could hear you in the great
distance, and what a heat-hungry heart of the valley would come
to understand, readily, your high ideals?
You cry, suffer, and reflect...

But what kind of rebirth will not be painful?
To free itself, the bird destroys the eggshell cradle where it
formed itself, and, in order to produce, the seed suffers the
laceration in the unknown pit.
Solitude with work to favor the neighbor generates greatness.
The rock that sustains the plains lives in isolation, as the Sun,
which feeds the whole world, shines on its own.
Never tire of learning the science of elevation.
Remember the Lord, who scaled the Calvary with the shoulders
wounded by the Cross.
No one followed Him in the ignominious death, except two
criminals, constrained to be punished in obedience to justice.
Remember Him and go on...
Do not list the good works you have already done.
Trust in the Eternal Good that awaits you.
Do not wait for the others in the march of sacrifice and
aggrandizement.
Do not forget that for the cause of the ministry of redemption
that He wielded for all creatures, the Divine Friend of Men not
only lived, fought, and suffered alone, but He was also
persecuted and crucified.

ARE YOU SICK?
“And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well;
the Lordwill raise them up.”
James 5:15
All human creatures get sick, but rare ones cogitate about the
real cure. If you are sick, do not believe that the drug action,
through the mouth or the pores, can fully restore you.
The pill helps, and injection is helpful; though, never forget
that the true evils proceed from the heart.
The mind is a creative source.
Life, little by little, shapes what you want around your steps.
What is the use of external medication if you continue sad,
distressed, or rebel?
At other times, you ask for help from human doctors or
spiritual benefactors, but when the first signs of recovery
appear, you abandon the medicine or the salutary advice and
turn back to the same abuses that have led you to illness.
How can you regenerate health if you waste long hours in an
environment of wrath or discouragement?

Therareindignation,whenfairandconstructiveinthegeneral
interest,isalwaysgoodwhenweknowhowtoguideitinlifting
services; yet, the daily indignation about everything,
everyone, and ourselves is a pernicious habit of unforeseeable
consequences.
Discouragement, in turn, is an anesthetizing environment
which numbs and destroys.
What can we say about the slander or uselessness with which
you spend long and valuable time in unfruitful conversation,
quenching your strength?
Whatamiraculousgeniuswillgiveyouthe organicbalance if
you cannot keep silent, nor forgive; if you do not help or
understand, and if you do not humble yourself for the superior
purposes, nor seek harmony with men?
No matter how fast the rescue assistants of the Earth and the
Spiritual Plane work in your favor, you devour your energies,
a careless victim of indirect suicide.
If you are sick, my friend...
Above any medication, learn to pray, understand, help, and
prepare the heart for the Great Change.

Detach yourself from transient goods loaned to you by the
DivinePower,accordingtotheLawofUse,andrememberthat
now or later, you will go back to the Greatest Life, where we
always find our consciousness.
Avoid brutality. Enrich your factors of personal sympathy by
practicing fraternal love.
Seek intimacy with wisdomthroughstudyand meditation. Do
not stain your way.
Serve always.
Work on the extension of the right.
Guardloyaltytothesuperior idealthatenlightens yourheart,
andremainconvincedthatifyoucultivatetheprayerofliving
faith in all your steps, here or beyond, the Lord will raise you.

Never Discourage
“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they
should always pray and not give up.”
Luke 18:1
Do not allow external problems, including those of your own body,
to become a hurdle for the work of your illumination.
While you are in the material plan, like the crust of the Earth, you
will always be faced with difficulty and pain.
The lesson given constitutes the way to new lessons. Behind the
solved enigma, other enigmas will appear.
The function of the school cannot be other, than teaching,
exercising, and perfecting.
Then, fill yourself with calm and encouragement, in all situations.
You were placed among a thousand obstacles of a strange nature,
so that, by overcoming inhibitions in the outside, you may learn to
overcome your own limitations.
As long as the earthly community does not adapt to the new light,
you will breathe surrounded by unsettling tears, careless gestures,
and dark feelings.
Be ready to forgive and always help, in order that you do not miss
the glorious opportunity for spiritual growth.
Remember all the afflictions that surrounded the Christian spirit,
in the world, since the coming of the Lord.
Where is the Sanhedrin that condemned the Celestial Friend to
death?
Where are the vain and domineering Romans?
Where are the executioners of the nascent Good News?
Where are the warriors who made run sweat and dark rivers of
blood around the Gospel?
Where are the shrewd princes who fought and negotiated in the
name of the Crucified Renovator?

Where is the darkness of the Middle Ages?
Where are the politicians and inquisitors of every sort, who
wounded in the name of the Excellent Benefactor?
Driven by time to the cliffs of ash, they fortified and consolidated
the pedestal of light, in which the figure of Christ shines,
increasingly glorious, in the government of the centuries.
Focus on the effort to help in the common good, follow with your
cross, to meet the divine resurrection.
In the embarrassing surprises of the march, remember that first
and foremost, it is important the permanent habit of praying, by
working, serving, learning, loving, and never discouraging.

AFFECTIVE COMMITMENT
“A man's inner duty is determined by his free will. The sting
of conscience, the guardian of inner probity, warns and
sustains him, but it often proves powerless in the face of
the sophistries of passion. Faithfully observed, the duty of
the heart elevates the individual, but how can it be
determined with precision? Where does it begin? Duty
always begins, for each one of you, at the point where you
threaten the happiness or tranquility of your neighbor; it
ends at the limit that you do not wish anyone to cross about
yours.” THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO
SPIRITISM – Chapter XVII, Item 7
The war effectively plagues Humanity, sowing terror and
slaughter among nations; however, wrongly guided
affection, through mocked commitment, covers the world
with victims. Whoever studies the conflicts of sexuality on
Earth today, admitting that civilization is in decline, simply
examining the absurdities practiced in the name of love, has
not yet understood that the problems of emotional balance
are, up to now, of all times in planetary life.
The Laws of the Universe will await us for millennia, but
they will eventually be inscribed in light characters in our
consciences. These Laws determine that we love others as
we love ourselves.
To avoid being psychically mutilated, we mustn't mutilate
others. In terms of affection, over the centuries, we have
often headed in the direction of narcissism and, stretched

out in the voluptuousness of sterile pleasure, we have
trampled on the feelings of others, pushing esteemed and
noble creatures into processes of anguish and criminality,
after binding them to ourselves with the bond of brilliant
promises, which we then discard in an unwise move.
Every time a determinate person invites another to intimate
situations or accepts an appeal from someone in this sense,
based on affinity and trust, a circuit of forces is established
between them, through which the pair feeds psychically on
spiritual energies in a regime of reciprocity.
When one of the partners fails to keep a commitment
without a fair cause, it harms the other in maintaining
emotional balance, regardless of the circumstances of the
commitment. There is a rupture in the exchange of
magnetic charges of maintenance from soul to soul.
If the injured partner does not have superior knowledge in
self-defense, he panics without being able to foresee the
loss of control that often borders on delinquency. Such
results of imprudence and lack of vigilance have
repercussions on the aggressor, who will share the
consequences triggered by himself, laying the groundwork
for the shared conflicts and frustrations that he will carry
into the future.
We know that Human Justice imposes punishments for acts
of plunder in the sphere of objective realities, considering
the respectability of the interests of others; however,
earthly legislators will also realize, one day, that Divine
Justice also reaches those who violate the Law of Love and

determines it installs in their consciences the reflexes of the
emotional plunder that they perpetrate against others.
Hence comes the certainty that we will not escape the
unfortunate equations of sentimental commitments,
unjustly disregarded, which we will redeem in due time,
installment by installment, by accounting for the principles
of cause and effect.
Reincarnated as we will always be, in this sense, until we
exonerate our Spirit from the mutilations and conflicts
arising from the environment of thoughtlessness, we will
learn in the body of our manifestations or the ambiance of
personal experience through penology without apparent
imprisonment, that we will never harm others without
harming ourselves.
