The document presents a novel approach combining the Immune Genetic Particle Swarm Optimization (IGPSO) algorithm with the Backpropagation (BP) algorithm to optimize neural network parameters for solving the optimal reactive power dispatch (ORPD) problem. The proposed BPIGPSO method has been applied to a standard IEEE 57 bus test system, demonstrating its superiority in reducing real power loss compared to existing algorithms.
