In the comedy Love’s labour’s Lost, King
Ferdinand and his three lords Dumain,
Longaville, and Berowne took an oath stating
that for three years, they will devote
themselves to education to become famous
scholars. In olden times, education was more
linear and in many ways, a lot more difficult. To
be a scholar or someone great, you had to
devote many hours each day reading books by
candlelight while manually writing your
thoughts and ideas until your hands hurt.
Fortunatel, technology came to our rescue, and
the computer, followed by the Internet,
revolutionized the whole educational process.

The Internet is a worldwide network of computer resources that
facilitates information exchange. It provides an enormous
wealth of information that continues to grow bigger each day.
