Description “Rehabilitation of main sewage pumping station in Meshref area which belongs to (MPW) Ministry of Public Work after major flooding of station because of equipments failure " Meshref sewage pumping station is deep well pumping station and It is 35 mtr under ground level. Flooding happened because of miss-operation from (MPW)'s contractor. Rescue team applied to rehabilitate the station to be restart again. Activities Performed: 1- Leading rescue team to divert all coming flow to the sea by fixing submersible pumps inside suction main manholes to pump out to storm manholes. 2- Evaluating the situation and equipments condition -what is able to be repaired or to be replaced- after stopping the flow and pumping out fluids from station. 3- Arranging the maintenance teams for repairing and replacing work for all equipments 4- Modification for some equipments and fixing new sluice gate by vendors and followed by rescue and maintenance team. 5- Co-ordinating with (MPW) staff and other rescue teams belong to other companies. 6- Following plan of starting up the station which made by (MPW) and Kharafi National management after finishing rescue work and rehabilitation.
