This document outlines how a child's perspective of their father changes as they age from 4 to 60 years old. At younger ages like 4 and 6, the child sees their father as all-knowing and great. As they become older teenagers and young adults, they view their father more critically and as out of touch. By middle age, adult children recognize and appreciate all the hard work and sacrifices their father made to raise them. The cycle repeats as grandparents view their own fathers in an admiring light again.
