An Easy-to-Use and Responsive Site for a Global Conglomerate
About the Client: The client is a Fortune 500 Company operating in the metals, textiles, mobile
telephony, life insurance and other sectors in nearly 36 countries around the world.
Business Challenge: The website for retirees had to be redesigned to make it more interactive and
responsive. It had to be simple and easy to access and use for the elderly. The client had the designs for
the UI and wanted someone to implement it and provide integration with a CMS.
Solution: Neev was involved in UI Development, Drupal (CMS) Integration and development of forms
and job applications. A LAMP setup (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP) was used. Neev also provided features
like font resizing and simplified blog creation which highly improved the accessibility and experience
for the end user. The solution encompassed the Administrator end of the website as well. Using Drupal
as CMS enabled the Admin to make frequent updates to important sections of the website such as
News, Wellness Article etc.

Online Video Based LMS for Apollo Munich Health Insurance
About the Client: Founded in 2007, Apollo Munich Health Insurance is a joint venture between
India-based Apollo Hospitals Group and Munich Re’s health insurance arm, Munich Health.
Apollo Munich provides health insurance plans to individuals, families and corporate houses.
Business Challenge: Apollo Munich required a tool to train their large base of insurance
advisors effectively and quickly and thus provide the flexibility to ramp up advisor teams as per
market demand. The tool would be viewable across desktops, laptops and tablets and be
accessible over low bandwidth internet connections.
Solution: Neev built a custom Learning Management system (LMS) called iLead using Drupal 6
and AWS. Drupal Customization, Video encoding and streaming was done via VASOP. The
solution was optimized for portable devices like tablets and for smooth streaming over low
bandwidth Internet connections. Flow Player was used for Video streaming. A Custom
Reporting Tool was also built on Drupal.

Online Student Learning Portal and Course Management System for PurpleLeap
About the Client: PurpleLeap, an ISO 9001:2008 company and a Pearson-Educomp JV company, enables
educational institutions to produce high quality talent while connecting students to the industry
through innovative solutions backed by cutting-edge technology.
Business Challenge: PurpleLeap required a revamp of their existing LMS system that was bootstrapped
into place by an internal team. The system lacked a good user interface and many critical features.
PurpleLeap required a comprehensive online portal that provided the requisite and critical information
to students and tutors to keep a tab on attendance, schedule of classes and tests, announcements, test
scores, and also enable online test taking.
Solution: Neev developed an online portal for PurpleLeap that provided students and tutors secure,
role based access to the system. Once logged in, the students were provided a dashboard with
information. The system provided trainers with information like test scores. It also enabled trainers to
administer tests online, inform students about schedule of classes and tests. Neev also built an SMS-
based messaging system that enabled tutors to send SMS alerts to students. Neev used a MVC design
pattern on Drupal to implement the LMS and completely redesigned the UI/UX of the application.
• Page Load time less than 3 seconds. Usage of tools like YSLOW, Firebug to identify and fix page
loads that were slow
• Major Improvement in the UI/UX of the application
• Existing code had to be refactored
• Several pages required full page refreshes
