Real Time Parametric Equaliser
Graduate Project for Real Time DSP done under guidance of Dr.Linda Debrunner
ABSTRACT
To implement a parametric Equaliser using Fixed point C
and to improve the equalizer using assembly language
intrinsics.
BACKGROUND
• Equalization
• Equalization is basically the adjustment of frequency
done in the electronic signals.
• The equipment that is used for equalization is known a
equalizer ,which strengthen or weakens the frequency
bands of the audio signal.
OBJECTIVES
• To have an amplitude and frequency control over the
audio signal using the shelf and peak filters.(Parametric
equalizer)
• To reduce the time of execution by implementing the
assembly intrinsic to the Program.
METHODS
• The most types of equalizers used in the industry are:
• Graphical
• Parametric
• Semi Parametric
• Peak
.
RESULTS
RESULTS
CONCLUSIONS
• The amplitude and frequency control can be done by the
Parametric Equalizer.
• The number of cycles per execution is reduced by
intrinsics.
• Parametric Equalizer is implemented and the variation in
amplitude and frequency are found.
• The number of cycles of execution is decreased with the
help of Intrinsic function.
