  Student defined as: •One who is devoted to learning, who seeks knowledge from professional teachers or from books. • One who studies or examines in any manner, an attentive and systematic manner. • One who pays the price for getting education. 4

  Teacher defined as: •A person who teaches. • Imparts knowledge or skill. • Removes the darkness • Takes the disciples from darkness to light or from ignorance to knowledge. • Works as a Torch Bearer of Change. 5

   Be Punctual.  Be in a clean and formal dress.  Be rich in the course/subject contents allotted to you.  Be update in the knowledge of course/subject and current affairs. 7

   Prepare thoroughlythe lecture in advance.  Take the prior approval of leave and make the arrangements for the lecture.  Be polite to your colleagues.  Follow the rules and regulations and instructions given from time to time. 8

   To Reachthe class room at scheduled time.  To check that the class room is clean and furniture is arranged properly.  To check that the projector (if installed in class room) is working properly.  To check that all the students present in class room are in proper uniform.  To change the seating order of notorious students if they are sitting in group or at the back benches. 9

   Take attendanceregularly class wise/subject wise in attendance register.  Circulate the course content/lecture plan to the students and adhere it at the time of delivering lecture.  Try to complete the syllabus in stipulated time.  Give the assignment to students after completing each unit. 10

   Evaluate theassignment by giving marks/grades and return it timely.  Conduct unit test as per lecture plan after completing each unit.  Conduct quizes/presentations/group discussion periodically (as per time table).  Quote the cases/news paper or journal articles/blogs in delivering lecture  Take the extra classes for weaker students. 11

   Use themodern tools of teaching to make it more interesting . (audio/visual aids)  Fill up regularly the pedagogy (record of lecture taken by you) held with Incharge Course.  Be polite to the students-listen their problems and try to solve it.  Be in touch with parents/guardian of the students. 12

   Be vigilantthat no student should loiter around in the campus during the lecture.  Be vigilant that no student should damage the college property.  Maintain the records of students indulging in any act of indiscipline.  Report about such students to Course In charge/proctorial board/college management . 13
