- 5. eBooks and Collection Development Some questions to ask when making choices: Do your students, teachers, and parents want eBooks? What percentage of your patrons have internet access and/or a computer at home? What devices do your patrons already use, if any? What options do vendors have and how do they fit with your budget? How will eBooks fit with the curriculum? What and how much support will your patrons need to sign up for and use eBooks? How will you plan to offer that support?
