Eclipse 2.5 – Subversion Integration

1. Check Tools -> Preferences and the Team option. You shouldn’t have any SVN
   options.




2. Select Help -> Install New Software




3. You can see the Install Window. Click on the “Add” button to add a new site.

   4. You can see the “Add Site” window. Enter the Name and the Location :-

E.g; Location = http://www.polarion.org/projects/subversive/download/1.1/update-site




   5. You can see the progress in your Progress bar, when Eclipse tries to list the
      available components on the site.

6. You can then see the available components.




7. Select only the Mandatory component ( leave out all the components marked as “
   Optional “ and click on the Next button.

8. You can see the progress on the same window.




9. You can now see the Install Details Window. Click on the Next button.

10. You can see the Review Licenses Window.




11. You can see the progress of the Installation.

12. At the end of the Installation, you can see a Software Updates dialog. Please click
    on the Yes button.




13. You can see that Eclipse now restarts itself after saving the current Workspace.




14. You can now see the Workspace Launcher. Once the Workspace has started, you
    can now check the Tools – Preferences and verify that a SVN option is present.

15. Click on the Fast View button on the Task Bar and select “ Other “ from the
    option.

16. You can see the Show View window. Expand SVN and select SVN Repository
    Browser.

17. You can see the Repository Browser. Right Click and select New -> Repository




   You can see the New Repository Location Window. Enter the URL and the
   Credentials and you can start using Eclipse and directly interact with Subversion.
