SOCIAL NETWORKING
• Social networking is a topic that divides opinion - some people think it's an
amazing tool but others are worried about the impact it has on people's lives.
• From to the Prime Minister - lots of people use social media sites for both work
and pleasure
WHAT IS SOCIAL NETWORKING
• A social networking is an online service, platform, or site that focuses on building
social networks among people, who share interests and/or activities.
ADVANTAGES
• Low costs: Its cheaper to use online social networking for both personal and
business use because most of them are usually free.
• Oppurtunities to find job: If you keep an eye on adverts you have a probability
of getting a good job.
• Connect with the World: We can know everything about what is happening on
all over the world.
• Make new friends: It has never been easier to make friends than it is right now.
And that’s mainly thanks to social networking sites.
ADVANTAGES
• It also makes it a lot easier to keep in touch with family and friends, especially if
they live far away.
• Facilitates open communication, leading to enhanced information discovery and
delivery.
• Allows employees to discuss ideas, post news, ask questions and share links.
• Provides an opportunity to widen business contacts.
• Targets a wide audience, making it a useful and effective recruitment tool.
DISADVANTAGES
• Time Consuming: If this is not your kind of thing, that it would just be a waste of
time for you. If you are not cashing the advantages then think twice before log in.
• Scams and harassment: There is a potential for failure of security in both
personal and business context.
• Health problem: As people spend a lot of time on social networks, they
experience less face to face interaction. This leads to social isolation and cause of
many physical and psychological problems.
ADDICTIVENESS OF SOCIAL NETWORKING
• The youth are more worried about what is happening online.
• They are spending hours in front of a computer instead of building face-to-face
friendships.
• Feel like something is missing while go on vacations.
• Wake all the night and checked anything new there.
THANK YOU
