This paper presents an efficient generalized signcryption scheme based on elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) aimed at enhancing security in wireless communication systems. The proposed scheme corrects weaknesses found in a prior pairing-free signcryption method and extends it to support multiple users while ensuring features like forward secrecy and public verification. The implementation of this generalized signcryption is particularly beneficial for key management in wireless sensor networks, combining authentication and confidentiality in message transmissions.
