- 2. Wire Rope Hoist The Rope Hoists have a machined steel frame. The Rope Drum is made from seamless pipes / steel plate grooved to take full lift without over-winding. The Drum Shaft has ball bearings to ensure smooth running with gears fitted on anti-friction ball bearings in oil bath lubrication. The Motor confirms as per IS- 325. The Wire Ropes are designed as per IS-2266 specifications. The Forged Hooks abide to IS-15560 or equivalent. The Rope Guides are attached to prolong rope life. - 3. ROPE DRUM FRAME 6 x 37 construction special plought hempcore flexible steel wire rope, having safety factor of 6 for class II and 7 for class III duty, is provided on the hoist. Galvanized and other construction of rope can be provided for special application. All steel fabricated machined and bolted type. The gear box is rigidly alligned with the end load plates by substaintially holding the transfer members which also form the motor platform for foot mounted motors. MOTOR ROPE DRUM Foot Mounted squirrel cage induction motor designed and manufacturerd to IS 325 of reputed make are used, Motors are totally enclosed, half hour rated, with high starting torque, specially designed and built for hoist duty. The motors suitable for frequent start stop as well as braking and are provided with class ‘B’ insulation. The rope drum is made of sturdy seamless pipe or fabricated from steel plates and is grooved to take the full lift without overwinding. Large drum diameter to rope ration reduce wear and cable fatigue. The drum shaft revolves in ball bearing, ensuring smooth running. BRAKE ROPE GUIDE Disc shoe type spring loaded brakes are provided for heavy duty operation. Brakes are mouted on the non-driving end of the motor and are easily accessible. Standard “TACKLERS” Hoist carries rope guide and pressure ring as standard feature. Cast iron fully en-circling guide ring fixed aroud the grooves of the drum to ensure correct rope lay. TROLLEY FLAME PROOF HOIST Cross Travel Trolley are designed to suit standard Rolled Steel Joist or box girder. The trolley frame is rigidly bolted with hoist frame through series of hoies. Adjustments of flange widht, C.T. Wheels are with ball bearing and mounted on EN 8 Steel axles. “TACKLERS” Wire Rope Hoist are specially built with flame proof electricals to suit hazardous area in chemical plants, confirming to IS 2148, all electricals are duly certified by Central Mining Research Station, Dhanbad for classified gas groups I, IIA, IIB & IIC. CONTROLS FLAME PROOF HOIST / CRANES Every hoist is provided with a control panel comprising of standard make heavy duty, direct – on line reversing type air brake contactors, transformer and fuses. Doust proof M.S. sheet metal cabinet. Above “TACKLERS” products are with flame proof electricals confirm to IS 2148, also duly certified by CMRS, Dhanbad and are suitable for Gas Grop I, IIA, IIB & IIC. GEARS BOTTOM BLOCK Alloy steel hobbed teeth helical spur gears with solid pinions runnings on ball / roller bearing with oil bath lubrication. Bottom Hook Assembly consisting of drop forged steel hook mounted on thrust Ball Bearings, with large diameter sheave and hook plates made our of steel. PUSH BUTTON STATION LIMIT SWITCH P.B. Switch of reputed make is used. 2 stations (Up-Down) & 4 stations (Up-Down & Left-Right). To avoid overwinding or overlowering of wire rope, limit switches are provided with each hoist, which ensures the highest & lowest position of load hook.
