NetApp held the number one position in market share for external all-flash arrays in several European countries in 2017Q1 according to IDC data. In the UK, France, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, NetApp captured the largest revenue share, ranging from 24% to 48% in these countries. NetApp also significantly outpaced overall market growth in most regions, with year-over-year revenue increases as high as 555% in Spain and 495% in Switzerland.
