The document presents a proposed energy efficient multipath routing protocol for mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) that aims to minimize energy consumption and extend the network's lifetime by considering transmission power and residual energy as metrics for route selection. Simulation results indicate that the proposed protocol outperforms the traditional AOMDV protocol by reducing energy consumption, end-to-end delay, and improving throughput. The system processes route discovery and selection while managing power and energy efficiently to maintain optimal communication across nodes.
