A disaster film is a film genre that has an impact or ongoing disaster as its subject and primary plot device. Such disaster includes various resources such as earthquakes and others. The films usually feature some degree of build-up, the disaster and the aftermath, usually suggested by specific individual characters or their families. Adventure films are a genre of film; they often use their action scenes preferably to travel to some preferable exotic locations in an energetic way. Adventure films are mostly set in a period background and may include adapted stories of historical or fictional adventure heroes with context. San Andreas features an ideal day turns disastrous when California’s notorious San Andreas triggers a devastating earthquake. As the earth starts to crumble, Ray Gaines a search-and-rescue helicopter pilot must navigate the destruction to bring his estranged wife, Emma Gaines and their only daughter, Blake Gaines to safety. On the other side, Avengers Age of Ultron premiers Tony Stark creates a dormant peacekeeping program, things go terribly away, forcing him and the rest of the Avenger to reassemble. As the fate of Earth hangs in balance, the team is to put their ultimate efforts as they battle Ultron, a technological terror on human extinction. Based on both films, they consist of an antagonist, which is opposing the protagonist causing them to travels around places to achieve something intimately. As things start to turn around, the protagonist had to show up and put their limitless efforts in order to save someone. In addition, both films causes a group of team to reunited with others like San Andreas, the protagonist Ray Gaines finally reunion with his estranged wife, Emma Gaines and their daughter as well, causing a family or team to reunion, the movie Avengers Age of Ultron also causes the Avengers team to reassemble to combine their ultimate efforts to battle Ultron that planned on human extinction. Besides that, the protagonist of the film San Andreas is Ray Gaines, a search-and-rescue helicopter pilot to navigates the devastating earthquake in order to bring his estranger wife and daughter to safety. In the other hand, the protagonist of the movie Avengers Age of Ultron is Tony Stark, the benefactors of the avengers, a self-described genius with electromechanical suits of armor of his own invention. He is the creator of the artificial intelligence program, Ultron, which he planned on human extinction. From what I discovered from both movies, the protagonist and their leading team had been placing in efforts and sacrifices of their life to save their loved one and the world. In distant, they had been putting in all their efforts and had worked hard on their missions without giving up their hopes to achieve something.

Since it had been causing havoc and destroy the city including people’s life, Ray Gaines had to navigate the earthquake to bring his estranged wife to save their only daughter. The other side, the antagonist of the movie Avengers Age of Ultron is Ultron. An artificial intelligence repurposed by Tony Stark for a pilot peace program that is overwhelmed with a god complex, and now desires to pacify the Earth by eradicating humanity. In addition, both of the movies had their antagonist opposing them directly, causing the protagonist to battle them with their efforts and sacrifices to stop them from creating further destruction. Unlike, San Andreas, the earthquakes that is approaching the city cause the people and the citizens to be in chaos and forcing Ray Gaines, the protagonist to navigate it from destruction. The antagonist of the movie Avenger Age of Ultron is Ultron, since he already planned in eliminating human races from the world, he is opposing all humans and the avengers had to battled him effortlessly in order to prevent him from doing so. In comparison, both of the film finally emerged with mixed feelings, which includes happiness and sadness in their excessive ending. Similarly, for the movie San Andreas, Ray Gaines and his family can finally tears for happiness since the devastating earthquake had finally stopped. Likewise, they can now live a peaceful life again, which brings the reunion of Ray Gaines and his estranged wife, Emma Gaines. As well as the movie Avenger Age of Ultron, Tony Stark and the avengers finally feel with excitements as they finally managed to defeat Ultron from causing havoc to the world. -Tony Stark and the rest of the avengers feel excited as they finally defeat Ultron from causing havoc to the world. However, sadness also came into their mind as they lost one of their members, Quicksilver who sacrifices himself to save Hawkeye, another member of the avenger from being shot by Ultron and eventually died. In conclusion, when I explored in both movies, I had learned that there were a happy and sad part of the story, which I actually learned that both protagonist of the film had actually worked hard and placed their limitless efforts to save their loved ones and the world. In order words, I had discovered and experience both movies that we should not give up our hopes easily when we are already putting in all our efforts to achieve success. Despite this, they both emerge success and achieved justice from what they had gained from their experiences.
